Ginger Spiced Pear Cider
Makes about 1 gallon.
- 4 cups (32 ounces) pear nectar
- 3 cups (24 ounces) apple cider
- 1 Gingered Spice Bundle
Place pear nectar and apple cider in 3-quart saucepan. Bring mixture to boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. When mixture boils, add spice mix bundle. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes to infuse the spice flavors. Remove bundle and serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftovers. Serve hot or chilled.
We like our Ginger Spiced Pear Cider spiked. To make it an adult beverage add one cup of Bourbon. Serve hot or chilled and garnish with a floating star anise or a cinamon stick.
