Easy gourmet popcorn party snack mix that you can make yourself and save a bundle over store bought. This sweet, salty, crunchy and delicious party snack mix tastes incredible but is very far from healthy. The only healthy thing in it is the popcorn popped in a paper bag. If you use the microwave kind there is nothing healthy about it, zip, zero, nada.

One of my favorite things about this sweet and crunchy mix is that it can be adjusted to match any holiday or party theme when you mix and match with sprinkles and candies of your choice to create a custom snack mix!
Ingredients for gourmet popcorn party snack mix:
- bottle of popcorn
- paper bag (optional)
- bag of mini pretzels
- pink marshmallows
- Swedish Fish
- Twizzlers cut into 3rds
- Sixlets
- 12 oz of candy melts in colors of your choice
- Optional- sprinkles, jimmies, or anything else in your pantry.
Instructions for popcorn party snack mix:
- Pop the popcorn in a brown paper bag or use microwave popcorn or air popped popcorn.
- Place popcorn on a baking sheet or silpat mat.
- Melt candy melts in a microwave safe dish (at 50% power) in 30 second intervals until almost melted. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Use a spoon to drizzle the melted chocolate. Drizzle melted candy melts over the popcorn. Allow candy melts to solidify before moving.
- Drizzle candy melts over the mini pretzels and allow to cool completely before moving.
- In a large bowl mix the popcorn and pretzels gently.
- Toss in marshallows, Swedish Fish and Twizzlers
- Scoop popcorn party mix into the gusseted bags.
- Add the Sixlets and any sprinkles. Since they are small they will find their way around the party mix.
- Tie bag with a string and a flamingo medalion.
